Terms & Conditions

  • When using the run all dog mess must be picked up and placed in the bins provided.
  • You must have a booking and must have paid and booked a time slot to use the dog run.
  • When leaving the run gate must be shut and locked.
  • You must not enter the run if someone is already in the run. Please wait for the run to be empty to enter.
  • You can bring a maximum of 3 dogs on your Run booking.
  • If someone is in the run during your slot you must contact us on 07949389866 to resolve the issue.
  • If a piece of equipment is damaged during your use of the field you must contact us.
  • If a dog under your care digs a hole in the field you must contact us.
  • St Andrews Dog Run are not responsible for the injury of any person or animal when using the dog runs.
  • St Andrews Dog Run have the right to refuse service to anyone who is in breach of these terms and conditions.
  • If you cancel a booked run because the time no longer suits you will receive a voucher that you can use to book a more suitable time.
  • Any refunds given will be at the rate of actual money paid for a run or package. If you bought a discount package or run and require a refund this will be for the amount paid for the package or run, not the package or run value.

Discount Packages

  • Package voucher value remains valid for 3 months from date of purchase when the voucher will expire.
  • The value of our package vouchers is exchangeable for time on our run at a rate of £6 per 30 mins.
  • You can book your runs singly over that time period as and when you need them.
  • You can use your voucher to book longer runs. Longer runs will use more of your voucher value.
  • Only one package can be bought at any one time, please use your package runs before buying another.
  • The run can be booked 7 days per week depending on availablity.
  • You cannot use your package value to buy other vouchers. Package value can only be used to book runs.
  • Packages cannot be purchased using cancellation voucher value for previously booked and cancelled runs.
  • Package vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel a run due to bad weather, illness or unexpected commitment.
  • In the event of cancellation a voucher refund will be provided to the value of your run. This voucher can be used to book an equivalent run at a time and date of your choosing, depending on run availablity.
  • Cancellation vouchers cannot be used to purchase discount voucher packages.
  • Cancellation vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • If an unexpected accident or event occurs which means you cannot use the run for the forseeable future and need to cancel a large number of upcoming runs please contact us and we will help you with this process.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes circumstances mean that you cannot use your booked run. In the event of illness (of you or your dog), unexpected commitments, bad weather or other emergencies you can login to your account, cancel your run and put in a cancellation request for an auto voucher. The process of cancelling your booking to your refund voucher arriving takes roughly 1-2 mins so it is quick and easy. You can then use your voucher to book another run at a more convenient time. Cancelled run vouchers cannot be used to buy discounted run packages, they can only be used to book time on the run.

We understand that if you are a regular run user you may have favourite times to run. Please do not book slots unless you have the intention of using them. Booking slots just in case you may want to use them and then cancelling on a very regular basis means that others cannot access the runs. Please think of other run users when you book runs, and make sure that you are booking runs that you expect to use. Heavy and repeated cancellation will be looked into. This does not apply to those cancelling for genuine reasons.

If circumstances mean that you have booked runs or packages but cannot use the runs for the foreseeable future and need to cancel all future runs please get in touch and we will help you with that process.

We collect the bare minimum of personal data and use it only for the core business purposes of accounts, record keeping, communication, bookings and dog health care and safety.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect two kinds – contact data and transaction data.

Contact data consists of your name, delivery address, billing address, email address, IP address and phone number. We collect this data so we can take your dog run bookings.

Transaction data consists of what dog run slots you have ordered, how much you paid and by what means you paid. It is simple common sense to keep a note of what we have sold, but we are also required by law to keep business accounts and to submit an annual tax return. The transaction data is an integral part of this process.

We collect no other personal data or financial data. The financial data associated with my transactions goes to PayPal, and does not come to us.

 

How do we collect your personal data?

Directly from you when you fill in an online order form, contact form or place a booking with your contact and transaction details. We are required to obtain your clear consent before collecting your data, and so you have to click a consent box before your order form is sent.

If you phone or visit us to enquire about or use our facilities we will collect the relevant information to process your request or booking.

Also, if you send an email we will receive your email address.

 

Our Website & Cookies

This website is hosted by Flywheel, who keep the website and online data safe and secure. The website runs a Flywheel cookie which collects very basic information on the number of site visitors we have per day.

We process all payments using WooCommerce through Paypal. WooCommerce runs two necessary cookies on the website to enable the shop and checkout to function throughout your session.

If you disable Cookies in the privacy section of your browser you will still be able to access and browse our website, but you will not be able to make an order or book a slot, as WooCommerce cookies are required for the functionality of the checkout pages.

 

How Do We Store Your Personal Data?

Customer order data is stored securely on our website, in our dedicated email account and in our tax records dating back 6 years. We can anonymise your order details on request which will strip all personal information from your order. Please remember that if you request this then we can only respond to enquiries about your order or bookings if you provide the order number, as that will be our only means of identifying your purchase or booking.

Customer accounts are stored securely on our website and can be deleted on request.

Email enquiries are stored on our dedicated email account, and are deleted along with your contact information after the enquiry has been dealt with.

 

How long do we keep your personal data?

UK tax laws require us to keep all accounting and transaction data for 6 years following the submission of our tax return.

 

Can I insist that my personal data is deleted from your records?

Yes, it is your statutory right to do so. We will delete your personal data on request, apart from any current transaction data that we must retain for tax purposes.

 

Do we share personal data with any third parties?

Data is passed through WooCommerce to PayPal so that your order can be processed.
This website was created on WordPress, with hosting and security managed by Flywheel, a secure and wordpress dedicated hosting company.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

 

When will you hear from us?

If you make an order you will get a confirmation email after you have completed checkout, and you will get an Order Completed email to let you know your order has dispatched.

If we have a question about your order or booking information we will email you to clarify any details that we are not sure about.

If you create a customer account at checkout you will receive an email acknowledging that your account is set up.

If you email us or use our Contact form we will reply to your enquiry.

While you have active bookings, or if you are a regular customer, we keep your details so we can notify you of the monthly changes to the dog run padlock codes so that you can enter the dog run for your booking.

 

Customer Accounts

Customer accounts exist purely for your own convenience. The customer account allows you to log in and check your purchases and bookings. You can request for your account to be deleted at any time you wish.
